This is not just a lesson: it is the first step in surfing. After years of experience teaching surfing we guarantee you will stand up and ride your first waves in just one lesson! Our lesson begins on the beach with some theory and practicing the right movements and the position you have to use on the board. Then we go into the water and start surfing! Successive lessons will focus on turning and maneuvers.

Survival Spanish course
Add a 6 hours Survival Spanish and Costa Rican Culture course for only $188 per person. This brief introduction to the Spanish language will equip you with the necessary terms and phrases needed at restaurants, hotels, stores, and most importantly, basic conversations with the indigenous people. Costa Ricans love tourists who at least make an attempt to speak their language.

Rustic Surf Camps for Beginner Surfers
 Villa Baula Ecological Beach Hotel
Lodging at the Villa Baula Ecological Beach Hotel, Playa Grande, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The Hotel is located directly on the beach and surrounded by the National Marine Park Las Baulas of Guanacaste and the Wildlife Refuge of Tamarindo. The hotel has 20 beachfront rooms and 5 cabinas.
The Jaguarundi Restaurant located on the property, serves an international menu and typical Costa Rican food. The Rustic Surf Camp includes 2 meals per day.
